FROM COWS TO KIWIFRUIT
New Kiwifruit orchards continue to develop all over New Zealand. Although the Bay Of Plenty has the most area under canopy, there are other regions seeing growth including Northland, Auckland, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and even Manawatu-Wanganui. Many of the new developments are taking place on ex dairy farms - from cows to kiwifruit is a big change often requiring earthworks, posts, wires, irrigation, and overhead protective netting.
Hydralada Elevating Work Platforms play an important role in these projects allowing work to be carried out at height on unprepared terrain in a safe and efficient manner.
